Washington has taught American History at the TCHS Chambers Street campus for decades. He has published six books on education and on the history of Trenton. Dr. Cornell West and other Ivy-League professors have given Dr. Washington’s books superb reviews.

Washington, a Ewing resident, plans to expand his writing.

“I’m working on my seventh book right now, titled: ‘New Birth of a Nation: Historical Analysis,’” he added, “When I write a book it helps put Trenton on the map. So many people look down on the city and its young people.”
